YEAR 4 - MATHS Decimals

Children in Mrs Jones' maths group continued their investigation and understanding of decimals this week. We continued to use the bead strings to help us count in tenths (fractional tenths and decimal tenths) and then began introduing whole bead strings and parts of a whole. This understanding was then transferred to a decimal place value grid.
