Mr White
Welcome to the Year 6W homepage.
A wide range of interesting subject areas will be covered during the spring term and our class page is the place to find out more about what your child will be learning.
Please look at the attached Half Termly Curriculm Overview for details about the areas covered in our first spring half term.

PE
PE kits are to be brought to school on Monday and remain in the cloakroom until Friday.
PE lessons will be on Thursday and Friday. We may have the opportunity for an occasional additional acitivty, so it is important for the PE kit to be in school all week.
Homework
Homework will be set every week and is intended to support your child's learning.
English and Maths
Written English homework and maths homework will be given out on Wednesday and is to be handed in on Monday.
Reading
Please encourage your child to read as frequently as possible. We suggest a minimum of 15 minutes every day with Reading Records to be signed by a parent.
Spellings
New spelling words will be given out on Mondays and tested on the following Monday.
Times Tables
Times Tables Rock Stars is an engaging way for children to learn essential multiplication and division facts. Please encourage your child to play a minimum of 3 times every week.
