Year 4 decimals

Lesson: Maths

To summarise their learning of decimals last half term, the children in my maths group enjoyed playing a game! They rolled the dice to choose a row and then partitioned a decimal number of their choosing in a flexible way. First to colour 4 boxes in a row was the winner. Needless to say, the classroom was rather noisy during this lesson!
