World Book Day in R2

Class: R2 Year: 2024 - 2025

What an amazing day celebrating books and stories! We enjoyed listening to so many different books with a focus on books by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnett. 

The day started with a whole school assembly thinking about how books make us feel and then with the big reveal of the Masked Reader characters!
After this we set off on activities across the day linked to 'Supertato', 'Norman the slug with the silly shell' and 'Barry the fish with fingers'. 
Year 3 also joined us in the afternoon to share books and join in with some of our activities. 

A brilliant and very busy day! I hope the children have a big sleep tonight dreaming about all the stories we have enjoyed!
