World Book Day in R1

Class: R1 Year: 2024 - 2025

Wow what an amazing day celebrating books and stories! We enjoyed listening to so many different books with a focus on books by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnett. 

The day started with a whole school assembly thinking about books make us feel and then with the big reveal of the Masked Reader characters!
After this we set off on activities across the day linked to 'Supertato', 'Norman the snail with silly shell' and 'Keith the cat with the magic hat'. 
Year 3 also enjoyed us in the afternoon to share books and join in with activities with us. 

A brilliant and very busy day! I hope the children have a big sleep tonight dreaming about all the stories we have enjoyed!
