WORLD BOOK DAY 2023!
Today we have been celebrating National World Book Day 2023. Some of our children came to school dressed as a character from their favourite story books. We had some fantastic constumes! The children spent the day learning about some of their favourite authors. We also looked at two of our class authors that we have been loking at in our whole class read sessions. We have looked at author Phil Earle who wrote the book, 'Demolition Dad' and Andy Shephard who wrote 'The boy who grew dragons'. Two fantastic authors!
We spend the day researching all about the authors and even had a go at designing and making our own dragon! We finished it by completing a book quiz to guess the teachers favourite childhood books!
