Watch Out! A Gruffalo's About!

Today, Tatton house have celebrated World Book Day by creating a Newsround style news report based around Julia Donaldson's fantastic picture book The Gruffalo. Mr Myers read the story to the children and then Tatton split off into two seperate groups: one with Mr Myers and one with Mr White and Mrs Wolsky. The chidlren were tasked with creating as news report where, when working in groups of four or five, two children would be anchor people, one an interviewer in the field and another a witness. The children then set about creating a script which they were happy with before they were allowed to rehearse. After their rehearsals, the children recorded their videos before editing them in iMovie on the iPads.
