Volume and Capacity

Lesson: Maths

Year 1 started to look at Volume and Capacity this week. We started by describing different amounts using key language such as 'empty', 'full', 'nearly full' and 'nearly empty'. We then had to compare different amounts and explain which had more and which had less. We had a go on our own first and then we had a go with Miss Wortley and the rest of the class on Zoom. 

Lots of us have been learning outside and exploring volume and capacity with water. It's definitely the perfect weather for it!
