Viking Necklaces

Our topic this Spring has been the Vikings and as part of this we looked at the Norse Gods. In particular we focussed on Thor, the god of thunder. He was a very important member of the Norse pantheon and is still today one of the most popular mythical gods. In the time of the Vikings, the Norse people would wear these necklaces of Mjolnir, Thor's magical hammer, to ward off evil spirits.
