The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This week our learning has been focused arond the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle. After listening to the story we then acted it out to help us to remember the different parts of the story leading up to us retelling the story in our Big Write. We have also used this classic story to learn all about the life cycle of a butterfly and symmetrical patterns. 

To help bring our story focus to life we also have our very own class caterpillars now which we can't wait to watch grow into big caterpillars and then into beautiful butterflies!
