The time travellers of Class 4!

Lesson: History

What a start to our final half term as Year 1! We could not believe it when Doctor Who crash landed into our assembly on Monday morning announcing some terrible news, people were attempting to steal the keys of time and we had to solve challenges to stop this from happening! Class 4 launched into action to create some fantastic pictures of the great fire of London so nobody could steal the memory of what happened. We worked together as a class to create a fiery border for our board, collage some flames and create a Tudor house. A real team effort! 

The children have have throughly enjoyed travelling through the time portal, with their time passports of course, to the times of Charles Darwin, Guy Fawkes, the first Moon landing, the titanic sinking and to the invasion of dinosaurs! 

Miss Humphreys is incredibly proud of all of their learning and effort this week both in our own class and to all the other teachers they have visited. They can recall some amazing facts too. They have been absolutely superb time travellers. Well done Class 4!
