The Something

Lesson: EYFS

This week began with the discovery of a hole in our outdoor area and our class red ball going missing...! We then looked closely at the book 'The Something' by Rebecca Cobb as there was some similarities with the story and what had happened to us! 
In our English lessons we explored the hole, talked about what could be down there using describing words, how we could get our ball back and looked closely at the illustrations. We even labelled some of the pictures from the book.
 

Next week will continue to read the story, look at the story structure and compare with another story.
