The Queen’s Hat

For the past two weeks we have been reading the story ‘The Queen’s Hat’ by Steve Antony. The children have loved listening to this story as well as learning about different places in London and The Queen. We then wrote our own stories about ‘The Queen’s Dog’ visiting Lacey Green.  The children took Monty the dog around school, recording the different places he had been through using Piccollage on the iPads to help them with their ideas. 

In Maths we have been solving problems. Some of the queens jewels had been going missing and we have used our knowledge of numbers 1-10 to take away.
