The Queen's 90th Birthday

To celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's 90th, the children had a day of celebration in which they shared all different facts and trivia in which they had previously gleamed from a unit of work in Year One. We decided that what better way to share these facts with each other was in the style of a news report. Everyday we watch Newsround with the children and may discuss any ideas which arise. What better way to create a news report than in the Newsround studio, one of the children's favourite television programmes! Here are a selection of videos in which the children recorded using iMovie and green screen to present their royal knowledge. 

Bear in mind that some of the "facts" might not be entirely accurate! We have discussed these in school.
