The pen friend letters have arrived! (finally!)

Lesson: Languages

There was great excitement today in year 6 as the pupils received their first pen friend letters from French pupils at our partner school in France. This is the start of correspondence between the pupils which will continue over the year with a variety of letters, and posters. Pupils will learn about French traditions and festivals and will also get chance to practise their reading and writing skills in French. 

Year 6 pupils also made colourful Christmas baskets which have been filled with a slice of "Buche de noel" by Madame Webb! Enjoy!
