The Gruffalo! What's a Gruffalo?

For our story focus these past two weeks reception have been looking closely at the story of The Gruffalo. 

We have read the story and looked closely at the illustrations which has helped us to label the Gruffalo using descriptive language from the story. Within our child initiated activities the children have made their own Gruffalo masks, created their own creatures and used the characters to help us with our number bonds to 10. 

After all this hard work we definitely know what a Gruffalo is now!
