Testing Materials

Today in Year 1, we tested materials to find out about their different properties. We were investigating which materials were bendy, absorbent and waterproof. We loved being scientists! 
 

We then conducted our own experiment to find the perfect material for Baxter's new umbrella. We chose 4 materials to test - rubber, cotton, paper and foil. We used our findings from the previous investigation to form a prediction to test.
