Testing materials for an umbrella!

Lesson: Science

1H have been on a science mission this morning, their task to find a material to make a new umbrella for Winnie the Pooh as his was broken. We quickly set to work discussing and predicting how we thought different materials would act when water was squirted onto them. We put paper in a cup and checked it to see if it got wet when the material was placed on top. The children worked very carefully to ensure they achieved a fair test, Miss Humphreys was very impressed! Take a look at the investigators in action.
