Class 5J - Testing Air Resistance -Parachutes!

Following on from having made their ‘Perfect Parachute’ pupils in Class 5J tried them out outside. They used the adventure playground equipment to give the chutes more of a chance of flight! Each group were responsible for ensuring that the parachutes were tested fairly and they took accurate measurements using stop watches and metre sticks.

As well as conducting important scientific testing for investigative purposes, the children thoroughly enjoyed seeeing their creations come to life!
