Summer 1, Week 1

Year 1 have been super busy with their home learning this week. We've had Science challenges, writing tasks, Maths problems, Geography and French too! 

In French, we recapped our learning of the colours. We investigated and identified the key features of a tree, as part of our Science learning. In Maths we have focused on numbers up to 50, discussing the value of two digiti numbers. We have also been keeping up with our phonics learning with Rosie every morning, and reading our eBooks daily to an adult. In Geography we have started our new topic 'People and their communities'. Our first task was to learn about the United Kingdom. We designed and created our own 'Cake-O-Saurus' too. 

It's been a busy week for sure  - all of this and more! A big thank you to all of the adults and siblings, for their support during this time.
