Static Electricity D&T week

Lesson: Design and technology

Firstly, we researched the famous inventor Thomas Edison and found out that he invented the light bulb. We then experimented with some static electricity games, which involved rolling tin cans with balloons and moving tissue paper butterfly wings!

Afterwards, we designed our static electricity games, drew an exploded diagram of our design and then started creating them.

Once we'd had finished creating our games we tested and evaluated our game as well as someone else's.
