Space

Lesson: EYFS

This half term we have been learning all about space. This week in particular, we have been learning all about the moon including who the first man on the moon was (Neil Armstrong!) and how the moon orbits the Earth. We even had a go at orbitting the Earth in our classroom using a globe and a ball and then in partners with pretend moons and earths. In our play, we have been making planets and aliens with playdough too and discussing what we have made. Some of us have been making rockets out of blocks too!
