Lesson: Design and technology

This week we have become space designers with a mission to make our own junk model rockets. The children were asked to plan out their rocket thinking carefully of the features it should have. They worked well in teams to first create the base shape of their rocket. The rocket was then decorated the next day. They have done a great job with their finished rockets. Take a look at our photos! 

A big thank you to all those that put in such an effort with the homework this week. The children wrote some great facts and some of the children have made fantastic models. It is lovely to hear that lots of you have been discussing and reading up about space at home too. The children are fascinated!
