Understanding the ‘inverse’

Lesson: Maths

In Year 1, we have been working hard in Maths to solve some tricky addition and subtraction problems using a variety of methods.

This week, we have been using numicon to explain what is meant by the inverse. 

We have also learnt lots of new vocabulary, such as 'minuend', 'addend' and 'subtrahend'.
