Lesson: Maths

Over the past week Year 1 have been exploring the different aspects of shape.

We have looked at 2D and 3D shapes. We went on an object hunt round the classroom and compared the different shapes. Then we looked at half and quartering amounts. We used a bar model to help us, we found the whole and split the bottom bar. Today we looked at doubling, we used the part whole models and cubes to help us.
