Safer Internet Day

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Year 5 have been learning how to make the internet a safe and positive space.  Throughout the day we discussed different situations we could find ourselves in and how we could solve them.  It was very interesting to hear about the number of games, apps and social networks that the children belonged to and the ease with which they could communicate using microphones, text and video. I would therefore welcome parents to ask about what was talked about today and see how we can all change our behaviour on the web to make it a better place.
