Safer Internet Day in 2A

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

2A have had a fantastic day learning how to stay safe online. We spent the day taking part in different activities which were all linked to teaching the children how how to use the Internet positively and safely.

Our first activity included creating a PiCollage of what we enjoy most about school with the aim of sharing it online followed by giving and receiving positive feedback to each other. We then learnt about about our digital footprint and demonstrated this by drawing round our own feet to show how we use the Internet.

Later on we spent time in a ‘Compliment Circle’ and learnt about respecting and giving compliments to each other. Our last activity involved ‘Emoji Emotions’ where we read different scenarios and decided which emotion we would feel and the best way to react and behave in that situation. I was really proud to hear all of the children’s mature discussions and the kindness and respect they showed to each other. Have a look at our photos to see what we got up to!
