Safer Internet Day 2016

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

It's Safer Internet Day and, in year 5, we are focusing on not revealing personal details online, especially to people that you don't know. The children have been thinking about chatting with people during online games, such as Minecraft, and only talking to people in chats that they have met in person.  We have had long discussions about what to do if they feel uncomfortable or worried about anything that they find or encounter online. They are all in the process of preparing a storyboard for a video to show how to stay safe online.
