Retelling a story

Class 1SC have been reading the story, 'The Way Back Home,' by Oliver Jeffers.

They wrote and drew their own story maps to sequence the main events of the story and then they made lolly stick puppets of the main characters. They used these puppets to retell the story to each other.

It was lots of fun as you can see.
