REPRESENTING NUMBERS

Today children in Year 5 began a unit of work on Place Value whereupon they began exploring all of the ways to represent numbers. They used partitioning in a variety of ways, used counters, bar models and number,ones.

The children worked together to represent a number in 4 different ways.
