This week our key question in RE is ‘What is good about Good Friday?’
Our Easter story is off to a great start in our RE lesson this afternoon. Today we have been looking at the Easter Story and discussing what was good about Good Friday. We have been making our own crosses this afternoon to represent each day of the Easter story.
The children have been working really hard to understand the key parts of the Easter story and reflecting on whether Good Friday was a good day or a bad day? And for who.
We have been sharing our own thoughts on the Easter story and whether we think it was unfair that Jesus died because of how his disciples were behaving towards God’s creations.
Today we have been thinking about what we do to show love and gratitude towards the people we love, like Jesus did to his disciples.
We then completed a reflection activity at the end of our RE unit.
