Ranger Dan visits Year 1

Lesson: Science

Despite the wet weather, we had a great time with Ranger Dan. We began with a talk in the classroom about what habitats we could remember from our science lessons. Afterwards we zipped up our rain macs and pulled on our wellies, collected a Peteri dish and ventured outside. We hunted for bugs on tree bark, on leaves and under plant pots. Ranger Dan had lots of information about all the bugs and we learnt about the amazing lifecycle of a ladybird, seeing it with our own eyes!
