R2's trip to Wilmslow Library

Today the children in R2 have been for a visit to our local library in Wilmlsow, after an invitation from them, to listen to some stories and choose a book to take home. The children enjoyed the walk down from school, looking for different features in our local area. Once they arrived, they listened beautfully to the story 'Open very carefully: A Book with a Bite!' by Nicola O'Byrne. The children then explored the library and chose a book to take home with their own library cards!

The children really enjoyed the walk, the stories and the book choosing, and I'm sure they will sleep very well tonight after a good bedtime story!
