R1's trip to Wilmslow Library

Today the children in R1 have been for a visit to our local library in Wilmslow, to listen to some stories and chose a book to take home. The children enjoyed the walk down from school, looking for different features in the local area. Once they arrived, they listened to the story 'Open very carefully: A Book with a Bite!' By Nicola O'Byrne. The children explored the library and chose a book to take home with their own library cards. 

The children really enjoyed the walk, the stories and choosing a book, and I'm sure they will sleep very well tonight after a good bedtime story!
