Petty Pool
Lesson: Personal, Social and Emotional Education
Class: 2R Year: 2024 - 2025
2R Have had the most amazing time at Petty Pool! We worked on reslience, pushing through our barriers and coming out of our comfort zones.
Day 1
We unpacked, had lunch, did the crate stack activity and rock climbling - the rain was not going to stop us! Then we had our evening meal, which we served to eachother and cleaned up after ourselves. Next, we went for a night walk in the forest where we saw all of the planets in alignment! We had some delicious hot chocolate and settled into our cabins for the night.
Day 2
We packed up and Miss Roberts gave us a room inspection. We ate breakfast and made our own sandwiches for lunch later on. We then went on the zip line and tested our aim in archery. The zip line was very scary but so much fun once you had done it! Finally, we toasted marshmallows around the campfire and returned to school.
It was a great trip and we learnt so much from it.
