Perfect Pointillism and Boccia
Lesson: Art and design
As part of our focus on France for Theme Week, Year Two have been looking at various famous, French artists. We started off the week by looking at Georges Seurat and his painting technique which is called Pointillism. This is where tiny dots of colour are painted close together to look like they are one solid colour.
Sports for this day included learning how to play cricket with Dr Austin and Mr Muirhead and later on we were introduced to the sport Boccia with Mr White and Miss Hall. We had a fantastic day and all the children showed super sportsmanship.
