Year Two have spent the last week looking at place value in numbers. The children have learnt how many tens and ones are in numbers up to 100 and today we explored different ways to split a value.  We used dienes to explore this practically and then the children used our new iPad app ‘Show it’ to show how a value can be represented in different ways.
