Patterns, fruit creatures and stay and play!

Class: R2 Year: 2024 - 2025

It's all about patterns this week in Reception. We are learning to recognise different patterns with different colours and shapes. We learned about check patterns, star patterns, stripy patterns and flower patterns. We then looked at repeated patterns and learned how to continue the pattern. We have enjoyed some adult-led learning looking at autumnal patterns and we've explored patterns in the different learning areas in our classroom. 

Elsewhere this week, we've also been practising our numbers and writing our names, making funky fruit creatures for Autumn/ Harvest and of course... we've had some visitors join us for Stay and Play. Thank you to all the adults who have come to join in with our learning this week. We look forward to welcoming more adults this week for Stay and Play.
