Passover
Lesson: Religious education
Year 4 have been studying Judaism. This term, we have been learning about Moses and why Jewish people celebrate Passover. As part of our studies, we recreated a sedar plate and examined what each dish symbolises. Although it was very interesting to look at the food, we also decided it would be very educational to taste it as well! Everyone enjoyed the sweet mixed fruit (Charoset) and the Matzo cracker but we were less convinced with the parsley (Karpas) and we didn't even think about trying the roasted egg (Beitzah). Have a look to see how we got on.
