Our Five Senses

We learnt all about our five senses during our topic lesson today and how they help us understand the world around us. We used our sense of smell, sight and touch by exploring some new herb plants we have for our outdoor area. We could smell some things easily such as mint and rosemary but others we had to gently rub them and smell our fingers to identify the smells. The herb plants were oregano, mint, spearmint, lemon, curry plant and rosemary.
During actvitity time we visited the new sensory garden in the infant playground to look at the plants and use our senses.
