On the Ning Nang Nong by 1H

It has recently been National Poetry Day so we have spent the week exploring poetry. 1H have been looking at the nonsense poem 'On the Ning Nang Nong' by Spike Milligan. We have practised speaking it and have enjoyed trying to spot the rhyming words and have even made up our own nonsense words that rhyme. We are looking forward to performing it in assembly on Monday with 1S too. 

One of our favourite parts of exploring this poem was watching Spike Milligan himself performing his own version (http://www.bbc.co.uk/learningzone/clips/nonsense-poetry/12306.html) of them poem where he pops up in various places.
