Muzuzahs
Lesson: Religious education
Year 4 have been studying Judaism and have made their own muzuzahs. A muzuzah is hung next to a door and contains a small prayer from the Jewish bible (the Torah). It is hung as reminder to everyone that God is watching over them.
As they are often decorated in special symbols and colours, we decided to draw what was special to us. We also included a prayer or a wish about school and have hung them next to our door to remind us that we are all watching out for each other.
