Monet Masterpieces!

Lesson: Art and design

After learning about the French painter Monet and his individual technique, we completed some beautiful art based on Monet's Waterlilies. Before we began we added the Japanese Bridge in masking tape to our paper then our fingers became the paintbrush as we thought about which were the best colours to use and blend. Once our work was dry we peeled off the masking tape to leave a stunning bridge across the pond, just like in Monet's work.
