Mardi Gras Mask Competition

In French lessons KS2 classes enjoyed learning about how "Mardi Gras" is celebrated in France before half term. We focussed on the carnival in Nice which had "la musique" as a theme this year. The children watched the amazingly colourful and noisy parades going through the city streets and used the images as inspiration for their mask making over the holidays! They have created some fantastic masks which will be displayed in school.
