This week Year 5 have been learning about reproduction.  We began by studying how plants reproduce and learned that some plants reproduce by themselves and some with a partner.  As a result, plants look different because they either need to attract insects or have advantageous attributes to help them catch pollon from the wind.  

In the later stage of the week, we have been studying the life cycle of the chicken.  Fortunately, we are lucky enough to have an incubator in school and will be visiting it regularly to see how the chickens are developing.  We will be talking about reproduction and the life cycle of humans so please do ask questions at home and bring them in for us to discuss.
