Lighthouse Landscapes- Class 4

Continuing with our work on lighthouses related to our Light and Dark topic we created some beautiful landscape pictures. The children explored colour mixing, looked at colour wheels and carefully chose colours that blend together before creating their pastel smudged backgrounds. The lighthouse was created by carefully dabbing through a lighthouse and cliff stencil to create the foreground of their pictures. The final pictures are very striking and have formed a lovely display in school. Well done Class 4!
