Is it half full or half empty?

This week our maths focus has been capacity looking at ways we can show a container to be full, half full or empty. We used sand and water within jugs to explore this learning and then encouraged the children to find different containers independently to show their understanding of this concept. 

Maybe you could ask them to show their understanding of their new maths skills at home?
