Investigating signs of Autumn!

Lesson: Science

Today we took our Science lesson outside to explore and investigate signs of Autumn! We spotted different coloured leaves on the trees and on the ground below and we even found a pumpkin hidden away! We noticed that the leaves on some of the trees were still green and we wanted to know why. This curiosity sparked a discussion about deciduous and evergreen trees! 

There were only two things on our checklist that we couldn’t find – mushrooms and pinecones. We shall keep our eyes peeled!
