Investigating absorption

Today we planned and then carried out a science investigation about materials.

We wanted to find out which material was the most absorbent. We did this by creating a 'fair test' and making predictions before we carried out our investigation.

Afterwards we wrote up our results and came to our conclusions about which materials were the most and least absorbent. Can you guess what they were?
