Investigating absorbency

Today we carried out an investigation in Science as part of our materials topic.  We wanted to find out which material was the most absorbent and we learnt how to undertake a 'fair test'.  The children made predictions before they carried out the investigation and wrote up their findings.  Which material do you think was the most absorbent?
